Living alone… by Sanja and Jelena

This is a good piece of writing. There are some minor mistakes that I have italicised for you to correct. The sign V  means that you should insert a word. The composition is mostly coherent, but you start with “we”, and finish with “I”. You use “and” too often – see where you can replace it with another conjunction.  Also, your word count is 219, and it should be from 120 to 180.

Many people think that living with someone is better than living alone. Some people say that it is not true. We think that living alone is better and more enjoyable than living with someone else.

The main advantage is that you are free to use your time however you want. You can invite your friends when you have free time and you do not have to listen to and  spend your time with other people, when you are not in good mood to do that, or you have to study. Another advantage is that you have a lot of space for yourself  and your own peace. You do not need to put someones stuff away or to clean for somebody. If you do that you do it for yourself.

On the other hand there are disadvantages too. You can feel lonely when nobody is with you, to listen to you when you are sad, or to help you with learning. Another disadvantage is that you have to pay everything , there is no one to share bills with you because life is very expensive these days.

However, I would like to live alone. Maybe there is some reason which could explain this. We live in a large families so we cannot be alone when we want that.

Living alone… by Marko and Milica

Many people think that if you live alone you will have more time for yourself , but would you not be bored?  There are many advantages and disandvantages so it is hard to decide what to do.

In the first place, you will always be sure that you have your roommate with you in every situation. He (or she) will always be there for you, to help you, if you can not manage to do all of your obligations. Than, there is the fact that you will always have someone to share your time with amd to talk to (if your roommate has enough time). What’s more, you get to share your costs! Ofcourse, you are expected to do all the same things for your roommate.

On the other hand your roommate can be a burden to you. If you do not organise and agree in what each of you have to do you would fight alot. It is good to agree about using bathroom, socializing, shareing costs, free time otherwise you can just ruin your live together.

When everything is considerd there are much more advantages than disadvantages of  living together. If you chose your roommate smartly you can only have benefits from living together.

So find your self a roommate and stard living together right now!

Advantage of living alone is that you can live without anyone telling you what are you supposed to do.

Also, if you are quiet and introvert it is good for you to have some space and peace.

Disadvantage of living alone is that you have to pay for everything and sometimes  you can feel very lonely.

In our opinion it’s better to live with someone, because we have more opportunities. If we talk about advantages there is a lot of them. We have parents protection and safe place for living. If we talk about friends who live with us it is the same. But if you look from the other side you can see that there is a lot of disadvantages, like that you don’t have right on your opinion and you depend by parents side.

Living with someone can be a very fun and interesting experience, but is it a smart decision to make? Nowadays, more and more people in college campus dorms live together with a roommate, but some of them still prefer to live alone.

We prefer living with someone, because you always have someone to talk to and the rent is cheaper when shared. All in all – it’s more fun.

On the other  hand, people you live with can sometimes disturb you when you’re studying, especially if you have trouble concentrating.

In conclusion, it might be better to live with a friend, as long as you find a suitable person.

Living alone has its goodsides because you have more time for yourself. Nobody can distract yor mind from learning.

But, on the other hand, living with somebody has its good sides, too. For example, if you are busy and you can not do your shopping, pay your bills, or cook your lunch, your roommate can do it for you. Also, if you are living with someone, you will never be bored. But it doesn’t mean that you should spend all of your time socializing. You two should have an agreement about studying time, socializing time and also a list of ‘to do stuff’. Otherwise you will argue easily.

We think that it is better living alone than living with room mate, because you have more space for yourself. Also, you are more focused on your obligations and you can meet with your own friends whenever you want.
